Manage the blocklist

The blocklist stores email addresses that must not receive Campaigns from the account. An address can be added manually or appear because of activity such as a bounce.

Open the blocklist

Go to Sending → Blacklist. The page displays the email address, reason, and creation date. You can search by email or sort by date and address.

Manage the blocklist — list

Add an address

  1. Select Add email.
  2. Enter the email address.
  3. Enter a reason if needed.
  4. Select Add email to save it.

Addresses on the blocklist are excluded from Campaigns. Emails in Automations are also not sent when a record is ineligible to receive messages.

Import multiple addresses

Select Import, upload a CSV file with one address per row or in the first column, then select Start import. The screen displays progress and lets you cancel while the process is running.

Invalid addresses are skipped. Duplicate addresses do not create multiple entries.

Remove an address from the blocklist

Important: Removing an entry from the blocklist does not prove that the address is safe or has consented to receive messages. This action also changes records for that address that are blocked in the account's Lists to a status that can subscribe to messages. Perform it only after verifying that the reason for blocking no longer applies; do not use it to bypass an unsubscribe or spam complaint.

Open the address menu, select Delete, and confirm. You can also select multiple rows to delete them together.

How does the blocklist differ from Subscriber status?

  • The blocklist applies to an email address across the account.
  • Subscriber status belongs to a record in a specific List.
  • Unsubscribing does not delete a record and should not be reversed merely by unblocking it.

A blocked address may remain in Lists to preserve history. Removing the blocklist entry does not delete the Subscriber.

When the address still does not receive email

Check the subscription status, spam complaints, invalid address, verification result, sender configuration, and limits. Removing an address from the blocklist does not bypass other sending conditions.
