Add an email verification server
An email verification server connects Mailix to a service that evaluates whether an address can receive email. This server does not send Campaigns or Automation emails.
Before you begin
The Email Verification item in the Sending group appears only when your plan allows the account to use a custom verification service. The number of servers may be limited.
Prepare the access information provided by the verification service. Do not share access keys in screenshots or public support requests.
Add a server
- Go to Sending → Email Verification.
- Select Add server.
- Enter an administrative name.
- Select a service type available on the account.
- Enter the access fields that appear for the selected type.
- Set a usage limit by quantity and time unit.
- Select Create server.
The service type cannot be changed when editing. If you need a different type, create a new server.
Manage the server
The list displays the name, type, status, and limit. You can:
- Edit access information and limits.
- Activate or Disable the server.
- Delete the server when it is no longer used.
Delete a verification server
Important: Deleting a server cannot be undone in the interface. New verifications cannot use that server, and a process that depends on the deleted configuration may be unable to continue.
In the list, open the server menu, select Delete, and confirm. If you only want to stop using it temporarily, select Disable.
Relationship to List verification
After the server is active, you can use it on a List's Email Verification page or when verifying an individual Subscriber, if that option appears.
Adding a server does not automatically run verification or change subscription status. Each verification still depends on credits, service limits, and account permissions.
