Use Assets Manager
Assets Manager is your account's file library. You can store and manage images or files used in Mailix content.
Open Assets Manager
Select Assets from the navigation bar. The top of the page shows the file count, used storage, and storage limit when available.
Upload files
- Select Upload.
- Drag a file into the upload area or click to browse.
- You can select multiple files.
- Track each file's status, then select Done.
Files must meet the plan's allowed type, per-file size, and total storage limits. In a demo environment, uploads may be disabled.
Find and sort
Use the search box to filter by name. Choose newest or oldest sorting. Click a folder to enter it; the breadcrumb lets you return to the previous folder.
View and download
Select View to open the preview and information including name, type, size, modification time, folder, and visibility. You can open the file in a new tab or select Download.
The Public label means the file can be served by its path; do not upload confidential data merely because the library is inside an account.
Rename
Open a file's menu, select Rename, enter the new name, and confirm. Folders do not have a rename action on this screen.
Renaming can make the old path unavailable. Check the emails, templates, or pages that use the file.
Delete files
Important: Deleting a file cannot be undone. Content that references the file may lose its image or download link.
- Open the file's menu or preview window.
- Select Delete.
- Verify the name and confirm.
Assets Manager does not show a trash or recovery function. Download a copy before deleting if the file is still needed.
When an operation fails
Check storage quota, file size, account permissions, and network connection. For rename or delete errors, reload the list before trying again to avoid acting on stale data.
