Manage products in a Funnel
Products are stored in the account's shared catalog. After creating them, you choose which products appear in each sales step of a Funnel.
Open the product catalog
From the Funnels area, open Products. The list supports searching, status filtering, and sorting.

Create a product
- Select Add product.
- Enter the name and price.
- Select the currency.
- Add a description, comparison price, SKU, and image if needed.
- Select digital product if the product does not require physical delivery.
- Save the product.
The name is required. The price must be a non-negative number. Uploaded images must meet the limits displayed on the form.
Mailix does not display inventory quantity management in this area. The Active/Inactive status determines whether a product is eligible to appear on a public page.
Attach a product to a step
- Open the Funnel and select Edit settings for a Sales, Product Detail, Upsell, or Downsell step.
- In the step's product area, select Add.
- Select a product from the catalog.
- Confirm.
A Sales step can present multiple products. Detail, upsell, and downsell steps use the attached product according to the step design. Removing a product from a step removes only that link; the product remains in the catalog.
Edit and duplicate
Select Edit to change the content, price, currency, SKU, image, or status. Saved changes are used when the public page is opened again.
Select Duplicate to create a new product entry from the existing information. Recheck the image and the steps where the copied product needs to be attached.
If a shopping cart contains a product whose price, currency, or status has just changed, Mailix may update or remove that item from the cart before checkout to avoid using stale data.
Delete a product
Important: Deleting a product removes it from steps and prevents customers from buying it through the Funnel. No restore function is displayed. Check any public Funnels before confirming.
- Open the product menu.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the action.
Line-item information for existing transactions is retained to preserve order history, but the deleted product is no longer an item that can be opened or sold. Deleting a product does not refund or cancel earlier transactions.
Products, payments, and fulfillment
Attaching a product to a step is not enough to accept payment. The Funnel also needs an active payment method. If you need to issue keys or send post-sale content, configure the Fulfilment area before accepting transactions.
Do not interpret order status or sales value as confirmation that funds have reached your bank; check the corresponding payment method.
